Tokyo Marui pays homage to this legacy with its upgraded civilian model, the "Series '70," now available as a gas blowback variant. Representing the pinnacle of realism, this supreme model meticulously captures every detail of the '70 series, from its distinctive deep bluish surface treatment to the serial number engraving, faithfully reproduced with airsoft precision.
Key Features
Exquisite Blue Finish: The slide and frame of the Colt Government Mark IV Series '70 Gas Blowback Pistol showcase a stunning blue finish with hairline treatment on both sides. Hand-polished parting lines contribute to the creation of a beautifully curved surface.
Authentic Part Reproduction: Each component, including the barrel bushing, thumb safety, grip safety, and spur hammer, faithfully emulates the characteristic features of the '70 series. The spur hammer boasts a realistic side-polished finish and an anti-fog top coat.
Stamping Engraving for Realism: Side slide engraving is meticulously executed post-molding, simulating the process used in real firearms production. The small address type engraving, along with the serial number "Final type 70B35745," enhances authenticity.
Woodgrain Finish Grip: The grip features non-slip checkering and is adorned with a gold medallion, meticulously engraved to resemble wood grain.
Metal Notch Spacer: Internal metal components within the slide absorb stress during operation, safeguarding against damage to the slide stop and notch.
Powerful Blowback: Experience the potent recoil and realistic slide movement upon firing, faithfully reproduced to capture the essence of the original firearm.
Die-Cast Magazine: Includes a slim, yet durable die-cast magazine with a 26-round capacity, engineered to withstand cold temperatures.
The bluish surface treatment, known as the blue finish, is a classic aesthetic characteristic of Colt's Series '70 pistols, adding to their timeless appeal and historical significance.
