The latest addition to the arsenal of the US Army Special Forces "Green Berets" is the cutting-edge URG-I Sopmod Block 3 carbine. Featuring a 14-inch upper receiver (URG-I) and a range of innovative features, this next-generation electric gun has been in service since 2019 and is set to revolutionize military firearms.
The Colt M4A1 Carbine was initially designed exclusively for U.S. military special forces, known for its exceptional performance in close-quarters combat (CQB). In recent years, it has seen widespread adoption among airborne divisions and the Marine Corps, rapidly becoming the primary automatic rifle within the American military's arsenal.
In the late 1990s, the Knights' RIS (Rail Interface System) emerged, equipping the handguard with four-sided mounted rails. This development marked a pivotal moment, as a range of new accessories like optical equipment, suppressors, and flashlights began to flood the market. Additionally, the option to attach a grenade launcher to the barrel offered further versatility, enabling operators to tailor their firearms for specific missions without altering the core weapon.
The M4A1's active deployment in the challenging landscapes of Afghanistan and Iraq prompted the widespread adoption of the "Modular Weapon System." This system allowed various optional parts to be attached to a compact and lightweight carbine equipped with a rail, and it was embraced by multiple countries. The M4A1's systematic use of military firearms achieved remarkable success, etching its name indelibly in the annals of firearm history.
Key Features
Enhanced Realism
The URG-I Sopmod Block 3 is engineered to replicate the unique specifications of the URG-I, right down to the handguard, meticulously designed to mimic the authentic shape.
Shoot & Recoil Engine
This remarkable model is equipped with a shoot & recoil engine that provides an unparalleled level of realism. Pull the trigger, and a bolt-like weight activates simultaneously with firing, generating intense recoil that is felt throughout the body. Moreover, it features an auto-stop system that halts firing when the magazine is empty, prioritizing operational authenticity and ease.
M-LOK Rail System
The handguard reproduces the super modular rail (SMR) MK16 M-LOK DDC, utilizing the versatile "M-LOK" rail system. Three types of M-LOK rails (3 slots, 5 slots, and 7 slots) with a 20mm width (Picatinny standard) are included, allowing easy attachment and detachment using the provided hex wrench.
Exacting Reproduction
Faithfully replicating the DD-type URG-I exclusive gas block, government barrel, and ambidextrous charging handle, this model leaves no detail to chance, satisfying the demands of firearms enthusiasts.
Superior Rigidity
The URG-I Sopmod Block 3 features metal components in various parts, including the rail handguard, outer barrel, buffer tube, and flash hider. It incorporates a full floating barrel design, ensuring the handguard doesn't interfere with the barrel, thus guaranteeing rigidity suitable for gaming and practical use.
Foldable Sights
Both the front and rear sights are foldable and adjustable, allowing for compatibility with optical sights. Mounted via a rail system, they can be easily repositioned or removed to accommodate different needs.
Versatile Muzzle Options
The carbine is designed to be compatible with various muzzle options. By removing the muzzle flash hider, it becomes possible to attach a 14mm reverse threaded muzzle option, such as a silencer.
Steel Press Magazine
A robust magazine with an 82-round capacity is included, encased in pressed steel, closely resembling real steel magazines. Note that this magazine is not compatible with electric gun standard types.
The URG-I Sopmod Block 3 carbine represents a leap forward in the armament of the US Army Special Forces, offering exceptional realism, advanced features, and versatility. This next-generation weapon ensures that the "Green Berets" are well-equipped for any mission.
