Hot Springs Shark 2: Tokyo Marui Gears Up for the Wildest Sci-Fi Sequel of 2026

Tokyo Marui has just announced their official partnership and support for the upcoming sequel: "Hot Springs Shark 2: The Great Kyushu Showdown" (温泉シャーク2 九州大決戦), hitting theaters across Japan on September 4, 2026!
For those who missed the crowdfunding phenomenon of the first film, Hot Springs Shark is exactly what it sounds like—a wild, action-packed indie sci-fi flick featuring ferocious sharks attacking through hot spring waters.
The sequel ups the ante with a battle for the future featuring high school students, bodybuilders, and a whole lot of firepower.
Tokyo Marui is backing the production through crowdfunding support and, most importantly, by supplying the movie's official on-screen armory.

Tokyo Marui has highlighted two iconic airsoft replicas that will be heavily featured in the film as the characters fend off the hot spring predators:
