Introducing the civilian model of the P90 with an extended 16-inch barrel The P90 Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) was crafted by the Belgian firearms manufacturer FN, complete with its unique ammunition. Now, the civilian counterpart, the PS90, has been transformed into a high-speed custom electric gun, achieving an impressive firing rate of 25 shots per second.
This remarkable reproduction features the extended PS90 barrel and an olive drab-colored body, ensuring it stays true to its civilian model roots. Designed for survival games, it offers features like full-auto firing and a barrel change system, enhancing its practicality. With a rapid firing rate of 25 shots per second and a shortened barrel for improved maneuverability, this model excels in performance.
With the emergence of Kevlar body armor, a revolutionary material designed to withstand pistol bullets, the traditional firearms used by command centers and rear units, such as submachine guns and handguns, lost their effectiveness in self-defense. In response, NATO initiated the PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) Project, aimed at developing new equipment that would be compact, lightweight, and potent enough to counteract modern body armor.
The renowned Belgian firearms manufacturer, FN Herstal, recognized the inadequacy of their existing ammunition in meeting NATO's demands. Consequently, FN embarked on a journey to create a new 5.7mm x 28 caliber bullet possessing "impressive power, minimal recoil, and rifle-level penetration capabilities." This groundbreaking ammunition served as the foundation for FN's introduction of the PDW known as the "P90" back in 1988.
The year 1997 marked a significant milestone when reports of the P90's debut in combat operations made waves globally. The P90's distinctive design and exceptional performance, which defied conventional expectations, left people astonished by its capabilities.
Key Features
Remarkable 25 shots per second firing rate
The Ni-MH 8.4V Mini S battery delivers an astounding firing rate, with custom components like the piston and gear specially tailored to support high-speed cycling. It is equipped with a hand-made motor featuring premium Japanese bearings, ensuring top-notch performance.
Faithful Reproduction of the Civilian PS90
The OD-colored body showcases a 16-inch barrel with a substantial flash hider. The PS90 can be disassembled into three parts, just like the real firearm: the engine enclosed in the stock with an integrated grip, the barrel joined with the sight receiver, and the magazine. It perfectly replicates the takedown process of the actual weapon.
Adoption of Barrel Change System
By removing the outer barrel and attaching the flash hider directly to the main body, it is possible to switch from a 16-inch long barrel to a more manageable short barrel.
Mount Rail Equipped
The top of the sight receiver features a mount rail that serves as both a front and rear sight. You can easily set up dot sights compatible with the 20mm wide mount rail.
Semi-Auto/Full Auto Switching
You can switch between semi-auto and full auto without altering your stance by operating the selector with the finger that pulls the trigger. This gun also features an ergonomic design, making it easier to handle, and helping to reduce the shooter's silhouette.
Highly Practical Half-Clear Magazine
This improved magazine boasts a 300-round capacity and feeds at a rate of 25 bullets per second. The translucent resin magazine allows you to monitor remaining ammunition, facilitating precise magazine changes.
