In 1991, Marui released the world’s first AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) in the form of the FAMAS-F1.
This event marked a new dawn for hobbyists as the Japanese manufacturer moved away from traditional toys and dove into firearm replicas.
Thus, an entirely new industry was created, and Marui has never looked back ever since.
Three decades of innovation later, another milestone has been achieved with a brand-new category of airsoft rifle, whose sophistication exceeds even Marui’s top-of-the-line ‘Next Generation Recoil Shock’ series.

A ground-breaking advancement in electric airsoft technology, the EVOLT series addresses the needs of the most demanding players with an all around premium experience. Let's dive right into it with the first entry in this exciting new line-up: the EVOLT M4A1 Carbine.
An ‘Evolt-lutionary’ model
The M-SYSTEM TYPE 2 chip, an evolution from the Next Generation MP5 series that enables reliability, realism, and exceptional performance has been refined to the maximum. The new V7.0 chip includes 6 sensors that not only ensure perfect rifle performance but also can detect potential malfunctions and stop operation by itself if necessary.
Realism at all costs
Both the upper and lower receivers are made from full aluminum die-cast, creating an unparalleled sense of realism. It sports the exact same frame thickness as the real steel M4A1 Carbine. The buffer tube is also fully machined from aluminum and meets the exact specs of the actual firearm.
In order to improve the grip, Marui has chosen reinforced resin as its new material (used in the latest models such as the P320 or SG553+), making it extremely sturdy and durable. Unlike the rest of the main body, it’s been kept unpainted to match the real steel finish.

Improved disassembly
Unlike other models, which share a common gearbox design across different platforms, the EVOLT series introduces a dedicated gearbox that is an order of magnitude more sophisticated than anything currently available on the market.
The gearbox is now split into two distinct parts, with the cylinder fully integrated with the upper receiver. Particular attention has been paid to appearance as well, with almost no protruding elements after takedown.
As a first for Marui M4 rifles, an ambidextrous selector has been adopted, and a great deal of work has been done on it to ensure smooth operation and a perfect ‘click’ feel when actuated.
A nozzle stabilizer has been adopted to ensure constant tension. Previously tension was contingent on the spring in the magazine, as it would change depending on the number of BBs left in it. This affected accuracy, and with the new stabilizer nozzle, every single shot fired will be your best shot.
A new motor, the EG-1000 BR (Bearing Reversed), is also part of the Revolt experience to provide an ultra-crisp responsiveness and a stunning shooting experience.
To further support the EVOLT series, a new magazine has been developed, and unlike other AEGs on the market, thanks to a shutter, BBs are fed to the chamber one by one, ensuring that there is no spill, no clogging, and no functional issues.
A battery built for the Future
Over the decades, the airsoft industry has greatly evolved, and batteries that are powering the rifles too.
From a simple 8.4v NiMH to Li-Po to the cordless Marui SOPMOD battery, the power cores of your favorite guns were varied yet flawed, as, depending on the model used, sometimes cables got in the way of the experience.
With the new dedicated Ms Li-Po 7.4v 800 mAh, you’ll never have to worry about fitting issues again. This high-performance battery fits snugly into the buffer tube and is exclusive to the EVOLT series. It will be sold as a stand-alone or as a starter kit with its charger and power cable.
Its new safety system prevents any fire accident, a common defect plaguing regular Li-Po batteries.
EVOLT Real Shock FPR MARK IV (Federal Patrol Rifle 11.5")
Although the EVOLT M4A1 Carbine is a major improvement over regular AEG's, the RS FPR MARK IV takes realism to another level with a 300 g recoil weight that will make you feel every shot as if you’d fired an actual firearm. It’s a big step up from the current recoil shock series, and you might not want to go back to a standard AEG.

However, if you prefer having no recoil for increased accuracy, you can easily switch the upper receiver and install the M4A1 Carbine’s instead. Yes, full upper and lower receivers will be sold separately, so you can build your own perfect EVOLT rifle!
